Bay Rubber Company’s CO2 laser system has manufactured parts for engineered and artistic applications, hobbyists, and America’s most recognized brands. A form of subtractive manufacturing, cnc laser cutting produces excellent results for parts with tight tolerances and fine detailing.

Manufacturing performed on a CO2 laser cutter provides unmatched cost savings for our customers and increased efficiency of material through the production process. Processed parts are ready for the consumer market as soon as operation finishes. Every order is subjected to a proven preproduction process that includes testing and setting machining parameters, cut optimization, and material utilization optimization. An extensive quality assurance program is in place to guarantee high quality parts are geometrically accurate with burr free edges, and factory surface finish. Our 250-watt C02 laser cutter has unmatched repeatability and small feature tolerances of +/-.0001”, tighter than many industrial requirements.

Bay Rubber Company utilizes the same platform as some of America’s Top Universities and Research & Development Laboratories. Our team of trained laser operators have experience in the aerospace, medical & technology, and gasket manufacturing industries, in addition to an extensive background in laser processing technologies. Disrupting some of our traditional manufacturing processes, cnc laser cutting has drastically improved our ability to satisfy our customers. Services available at Bay Rubber Company include drawing assistance, material selection, packaging, and a mix of processing capabilities.

CNC Fabrication & Tool Capabilities

Design assistance includes drawing updates & revision changes, cost saving strategies, kitting and tool pathing. Our design team has experience with a number of 2D & 3D CAD programs and extensive knowledge of the laser cutting process. Providing assistance and expertise at every level of the production process has never been so fast and easy.

Access to dozens of industrial suppliers and expansive warehousing capabilities makes Bay Rubber Company a valued partner in material selection and storage for all types of laser cutting and manufacturing supplies. Our services include product sourcing, prototyping & batch testing, certification and storage. Simplify your supply chain and improve your bottom line by having materials available at Bay Rubber Company for easy product sourcing. The following material categories have been approved for laser cutting and machining; other material requests will be up to the discretion of Bay Rubber Company.

Laser cut parts are often one of a kind, intricate, delicate, and require unique packaging solutions to ensure safe storage and shipment. Our team has designed and made custom solutions for the Aerospace, Medical, Technology, and Packaging industries. Once a packaging solution is developed it is automatically called upon for repeat orders.

The energy of the laser beam vaporizes the material directly in its path creating a recessed surface from the original surface finish.

Complete removal and separation of a material from the top surface to the bottom surface along a designated path.

Removal of material by applying focused laser energy to a material without moving the laser beam during the process.

Removal of material from the top surface down to a specified depth.

Controlled material removal through a combination of laser cutting, engraving and drilling to create a certain shape, size or appearance.

Accurately cut sheet metals like stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, copper, brass and more.

Laser Engraving remove of material from the top surface down to create photo realistic images.

Bay Rubber utilizes a fully integrated hardware and software solution that allows for accurate cutting of printed materials. This process starts with a nozzle mounted camera that automatically measures the dimensions between registration marks on printed materials. The system uses these measurements and the registration marks of the original cutting file to compensate for distortion and rotation. The slight adjustments the vision camera makes to the cutting file results in a perfectly matched cutout in the material being processed.

Apply multiple laser processes to pipes and cylinders. Rotary limitations maximum pipe outside diameter 6 inches & maximum pipe length 44 inches.
